Developing Leaders Day - The external day of EVOLVE International Conference 2008


Developing Leaders Day is an annual event held by AIESEC Singapore. This year, the aim is to develop leaders with social value added initiatives. More than 200 people have attended the event held last year and about 300 participants will be involved in the conference this year.

Target Audience: Working Adults, university students, college students, polytechnic
students, and Junior College students

Entrance Fee:
SGD12 for students;
SGD18 for working adults

(Entrance Fee is waived for YEC members)

Theme: From Social Entrepreneurship to Social Intrapreneurship

Objectives:
(i) To develop youth leaders with corporate perspectives on the issues of Social Entrepreneurship and Social Intrapreneurship, and the
necessary knowledge in forging project partnerships with externals

(ii) To inspire youth leaders to continue or pioneer their social value-add projects in creating a positive impact on society

(iii) To provide an ideal networking platform for youth leaders to interact with various externals, which include corporate representatives, alumni and entrepreneurs.

AIESEC NTU - SSTI International Online Essay Writing Competition

Interested to participate in an essay writing competition and gain attractive cash prizes? AIESEC NTU - SSTI International Online Essay Writing Competition comes to you.

This International Online Essay Writing Competition is organised by AIESEC in NTU, in partnership with the Social Service Training Institute (SSTI) in Singapore. It aims to consolidate refreshing ideas and possible solutions from both local and overseas youth aged between 16 and 25 years old.

The competition topic is "How can non-profit organisations/voluntary welfare organisations attract sufficient resources for sustainability?" This competition is scheduled to commence on 1 April 2008. Please submit your essay online by 12:00 midnight, 31st July, 2008! Attractive cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three essays during the prize-giving ceremony at National Council of Social Service (NCSS) Members Conference 2008.
