So, we have decided to make it easier for all of you out there.. :) We have removed the requirement for teams to have a member of another ethnic group. What this means is you can just form a team of 4 persons (provided one is of the opposite gender)!! It's THAT simple! What are you waiting for? Download the form and join in.. The closing date is drawing nearer.. don't wait till the last minute! We only have limited places left! Hurry before it's too late! And in case you have not heard, the prizes are fantastic! Valentine's Day - Love Essay Writting Competition 2009

VALENTINE’S DAY LOVE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2009 The theme of the essay:
"Valentine's - Learning the love of our Elders"
Despite the short notice for the competition, which was aimed at encouraging the youths to bond with the elders in their family, we are pleased to have received a number of essays from your students. All the essays received were well-written. We sincerely hope that the students enjoyed themselves writing the stories and at the same time had walked away with invaluable knowledge of a little of their family’s history. The TECC YEC members found each of the essays very unique, insightful and deeply moving.
