The theme of the essay:
"Valentine's - Learning the love of our Elders"
Despite the short notice for the competition, which was aimed at encouraging the youths to bond with the elders in their family, we are pleased to have received a number of essays from your students.
All the essays received were well-written. We sincerely hope that the students enjoyed themselves writing the stories and at the same time had walked away with invaluable knowledge of a little of their family’s history. The TECC YEC members found each of the essays very unique, insightful and deeply moving.
